Benefits of a Personal Training Programme

Each programme is tailored to your age, ability and health and fitness goals. We can come to your home, office, gym or Local Park with all the equipment you might need. Following a structured personal programmes will make your workouts fun and enable you to reach your goals.

  • Regular sessions with me will help keep your exercise and physical activity routines varied and fun, challenging and achievable.
  • Fitness assessments are regularly performed to review your progress and ensure your programme reflects your fitness levels as well as your goals. This includes body composition, cardiovascular, Strength and endurance, as well as flexibility assessments, which will also give you a benchmark to review and celebrate your progress. Information and advice will be provided for injury prevention and optimal performance (including MYR with foam rolling & massage sticks, relevant exercises).
  • Flexibility is an essential component of al exercise programmes. We work to prevent muscles imbalances and through a series of assisted, developmental stretches based on the outcome of your fitness assessments. Information on appropriate stretches will also be provided for activities outside of PT sessions.
  • General nutrition advice is included including advice on weight loss, body composition change, improving sporting performance. Food diary review and feedback can also be provided for a supplementary fee.

Event training

  • Whatever challenge you’ve set yourself from a 5k run, a long distance walk, a marathon, triathlon or Iron Man, I’ll get you to the finish line.
  • A structured weekly, monthly, even yearly plan with schedule rest and recovery will optimise performance and prevent injury.
  • Nutrition advice to optimise sporting performance and recovery will also form part of any programme.

Core Stability

  • Core exercises are an important part of a well-rounded fitness program, which can train the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen to work in harmony. This leads to better balance and stability, whether on the playing field or in daily activities.
